Med-Peds Abstracts and Full Text PDFs by Decade
Med-Peds has a rich history that dates back to 1967 with the formation of the first two programs. Med-Peds residency training emerged from the traditional rotating internship model that was popular in the 50s and 60s as an effort to provide more comprehensive primary care training that was not limited to the ambulatory setting. Med-Peds training has evolved significantly since the first programs were created, and there is always a need for further study of our educational methods and outcomes. The MPPDA is very interested in promoting and supporting further scholarly activity that will help to describe and advance our discipline. If you have an idea for a research project involving Med-Peds, please contact us at [email protected] or use the MPPDA Email Listserve.
